Successful homebuilding is all about communication.
Because we handle both the architectural services and the building services, the
process is simplified. There's no time lag in communications. No adversarial role.
You deal with one company. For instance, during the planning process, perhaps
you want to add more stone to the exterior; but you're not sure how it will look.
We will produce sketches that will help you decide. Our philosophy is that you
also need to know up front what impact the design change will have on your total
budget. So, along with the sketches, you'll receive an accurate estimate of what
the cost will be. This emphasis on clarity in communication opens the door for
you to explore exciting variations and ideas which ultimately will lead us toward
building a home that truly fits your needs. - Custom

Architectural Services: - Schematic
Design - From the initial presentation of an idea as a thumbnail drawing
to refined hand drawn renderings and floor plans, we understand the importance
of your seeing a design before committing to it. A preliminary estimate is provided.
- Design Development - This step allows us to
involve you more in the refinement process where changes are still welcome before
we move into the final working drawings. The house is defined in more detail but
not yet cast in stone. The estimate is updated.
- Construction
Documents - These drawings and specifications become the basis for construction.
The estimate is updated yet again.
Home Building Services:
- We oversee all phases of construction including budgeting, scheduling,
quality control, payroll, and interfacing with government agencies.
- Estimates
are provided all along the way for additions or alterations to the working drawings.
What Others Are Saying About Our Homes:
“(Bob) Lee has done an even better job in illustrating these principles (redevelopment homes designed to fit in an existing neighborhood) through the homes that he has built in East Highlands. They are attractive, architecturally interesting, and blend in well with the neighborhood. They are not towering boxes, brick fortresses and thankfully, not split-levels. I can almost feel my own split-level longing to morph into one of Bob Lee's creations.”
